Appliance Repair - I found a great local repair company
on the internet 12/27/08. Want to share this with my MCE neighbors. Collin King - Owner/Technician (retired Military). He's been to MCE before for other customers. My 6 yr. old Maytag Refrigerator was in trouble & I phoned Aragon Appliance Repair in San Pedro. It being a Saturday, I didn't expect much. However, Aragon answered right away & agreed to come in about an hour. He asked for make/model & description of problem. Arrived on time, knew what he was doing, had the replacement part in his toolbox. 30 min. later my fridge was running fine! Aragon is competitively priced, courteous and knowledgeable. Fiberglass Bathtub Repair - Do It Yourself Method You may remember I posted an ad in May 2006 looking for a good fiberglass repairman. No recommendations thru MCE ad so I asked around & also looked on Internet. Internet Search: "Bathtub Refinishing" - best place with listings by city with address & phone #'s is http://www.constructionwork.com. Called a half dozen companies that would work in the south bay area, which I found at this Website. All quotes were approximately the same: $250-$300 to re-finish fiberglass tub. About $100 more if wanted the Tub Surround done also. Quoted Labor time: 1 day to 2 days. Dry time after final coat: 2 days to 6 days.
